    Bank al Etihad, formerly known as Union Bank for Savings and Investment, is a Jordan-based financial and banking services provider headquartered in Amman. It was founded in 1978. It offers its services through three segments: Corporate, Personal Banking and Treasury and Investment. The Retail Banking segment handles individual customers' deposits and provides customer type loans, overdrafts, and credit card and fund transfer facilities. The  Corporate Banking segment deals with loans and other credit facilities and deposit and current accounts for corporate and institutional customers. The Treasury segment provides money market, trading and treasury services, as well as the management of the bank's funding operations. The bank operates through a network of 25

Isam Salfiti
Chairman of the Board

Isam Salfiti has been the Chairman and General Manager of the bank since 1997. He is also the Head of the Management Committee, as well as Corporate Governance Committee, Risk Management Committee and Compliance Committee. Previously he was a Deputy General Manager for Arab Financial Corporation (Jordan) from 1986-89. He serves as the Chairman of Union Land Development Corporation, Co. Chairman of Jordan Hotels and Tourism, Vice Chairman of Union Integrated Tourism Company. He also serves as a Member of the board of Zara Investment Co. and Union Tobacco & Cigarettes Company. He holds a B.A degree in Economics (1967).

H.E. Nadia Al Saeed
General Manager

H.E. Nadia Al Saeed has been the General Manager of the bank since 2008. She assumed the role following a one-year exercise with Mckinsey & Co to reposition the bank and develop its new business strategy.  Prior to that Al Saeed was Director of The Dead Sea Institute, a think-tank in partnership with Earth Insititute to look at development issues in Jodan.  From 2003-06 she worked for the Government of Jordan and was Minister of Informationa and Communications Technology and Secretary General for the Ministry. Before joining the government she spent 11 years working in the banking sector. She received an MBA from the American University in Cairo in 1992 and Bachelor Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Jordan.
