Performing permanent controls and business management controls.
Performing due diligence on clients in a view to identify, manage and defer possible regulatory risks.
Establishing, reviewing, updating and managing KYC records.
Performing diligence on financial transactions in a view to identify possible AML risks.
Supporting the employees in connection with their client interactions ensuring relevant regulatory guidelines and cross border business guidelines are adhered to.
Assisting the Head in responding to group internal audits and external reviews by the Central Bank of the UAE.
Providing support, education and training in regard to compliance and regulatory risk issues to other employees.
Desired Candidate Profile:
UAE national only, i.e. qualifying for emiratization (holder of a UAE family book and eligible for enrollment in the UAE pension fund system).
Minimum of 3 years experience in either a business control management function and/or a compliance role with a UAE based financial institution, and or regulatory institution.
Good understanding and awareness of guidelines, directives and regulations relevant to Representative Offices in the UAE and/or regulated entities in the Dubai International Financial Center operating in the Wealth Management sector.
