Ahead of the recent festive season, global independent market research company Ipsos published the results of a survey on Global Attitudes on Materialism, Finances and Family. The online survey of more than 16,000 people across 20 countries suggests that those in emerging economies tend to see themselves as more materialistic and feel under more pressure to make money than their counterparts in North America and Europe.
