Alizz Islamic Bank signs MOU with Oman Post

 

Alizz Islamic Bank signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Oman Post, to reinforce its position as one of Oman's most innovative Islamic banking institutions.

This is part of Alizz Islamic Bank’s efforts to lead the financial sector’s initiative to work closely with Oman Post.

Moosa Al Jadidi, COO of Alizz Islamic Bank signed the MoU on behalf of the bank and Abdulmalik Al Balushi, CEO of Oman Post signed on behalf of Oman Post.

“This is a great opportunity for Alizz Islamic Bank to expand its reach and services by utilising Oman Post’s wide network of branches. Through this strategic partnership we can provide services and products to our customers in regions where we do not currently have a branch presence,” said Al Jadidi.

Alizz Islamic Bank products are designed to meet the requirements of the different segments of society and the bank continues to launch innovative solutions that add value to customers and enhances their confidence to move forward.

“The signing of this MoU with Alizz Islamic Bank will be beneficial to both parties. Oman Post’s objective is to support the national economy through its network of branches and we are proud to partner with Alizz Islamic Bank as they are the only bank that offers 35 Shari'ah-compliant products that meet the needs of both individuals and companies,” said Al Balushi.

Alizz Islamic Bank has strengthened its network in the Sultanate and currently has 9 branches in Ruwi, Wattayah, Athaibah, Al Khoudh, Sohar, Barka, Salalah, Ibra and Nizwa with a 10th branch set to be launched in the Q4 of 2017.
