Noor Bank to apply Dubai Font across internal platforms

Noor Bank has become the first bank in the UAE to implement the Dubai font across internal platforms.

Employees of the bank will apply the iconic font to all documents created in Microsoft Office programmes. The transition from Arial to the Dubai font is in line with Noor Bank’s vision of being recognised as the financial icon of Dubai.

“We are pleased to adopt the Dubai font within our internal communications on a day-to-day basis. The font is a unique symbol of Dubai’s heritage and self-expression in a world where all of our transactions are increasingly digital. As an institution that is rooted deeply towards Dubai, we are proud to support this vision from our esteemed Government, and play a part in promoting our cultural values around the region as well as the wider world,” Hussain Al Qemzi, Managing Director of Noor Bank, said.

Dubai recently became the first city in the world to create its own bespoke font in collaboration with Microsoft Corporation. The Dubai font will be available in up to 180 countries.

Noor Bank was launched in 2008 as a Shari'ah-compliant financial services provider, mandated to provide a range of ethical as well as innovative services in line with its initiative to support Dubai as the hub for the burgeoning Global Islamic Economy.
