The Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS) has announced the opening of registrations for its specialised banking and finance focused training programmes and courses for the academic year 2017-2018.
Applicants interested in pursuing a career in finance can apply to EIBFS’s highly reputed academic programmes. These include Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Banking and Finance, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Banking and Finance (with a specialisation in Accounting), Diploma in Islamic Banking, as well as a stand-alone Diploma in Banking. Each of these programmes will be offered across the three EIBFS campuses located in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
“At EIBFS, we carefully design specialised programmes tailored to address contemporary challenges and strategies in the dynamic banking industry, in a bid to create the most qualified and capable professionals. Our programmes are accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and recognised by leading regional and global institutes. Interested applicants must apply in accordance with the entry selection criteria of the chosen degree programme and the required English proficiency test scores (TOEFL or IELTS). They must also provide all transcripts and certificates of their secondary educational qualifications. In the absence of the required IELTS score, applicants may be conditionally admitted after talking an English assessment examination and attending an oral interview.
Admission priority is given to UAE citizens. Students can schedule their classes from 9am to 2pm or during the evening from 9pm to midnight, which is a convenient option for working professionals. Furthermore, bank employees interested in pursuing an academic programme or training course at EIBFS are eligible for discounts.
