Dollar loses ground

The dollar lost further ground in Asia today having traded in a narrow range on Monday, as investors considered speeches from Federal Reserve officials.
St. Louis Fed President James Bullard said in a speech Monday that recent inflation readings 'call into question the idea that US inflation is reliably returning toward target".
This suggests some doubt about the strength of the inflationary pressures in the US and reduced chances of an additional interest increase in 2017.
