CBB 12 Month Treasury Bills Issue No.37 subscribed

The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced that September BHD 100 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been subscribed by 100 per cent.

The bills, carrying a maturity of 12 months, are issued by the CBB, on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The issue date of the bills is 28 September, 2017 and the maturity date is 27 September, 2018.

The weighted average rate of interest is 3.29 per cent compared to 3.22  per cent, for the previous issue on 31 August, 2017.

The approximate average price for the issue was 96.781 per cent with the lowest accepted price being 96.488 per cent.

This is issue No.37 (ISIN BH0009216555) of Government Treasury Bills. With this, the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills is BHD 1.985 billion.
