Ali Shaukat Joins ADNIC as Senior Vice President for Risk Management

 

Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) has further strengthened its executive management team with the appointment of Ali Shaukat as Senior Vice President for Risk Management.

With more than 28 years’ experience, in-depth industry knowledge and technical skills across various industries in Canada, Middle East, and Pakistan, Ali will play in a lead role in ADNIC’s ongoing business expansion. His responsibilities will include directing and overseeing the development of ADNIC’s risk framework and practices..

Shaukat joins ADNIC from Deloitte and Touche in Saudi Arabia, where he held the position of Senior Technical Advisor for Risk Advisory. He has also worked at SABB Takaful Company in Riyadh, where he held the position of Chief Risk Officer. Prior to that, he was the Regional Chief Risk Officer at HSBC Insurance.

Shaukat has also worked with number of companies in Toronto in Canada in various roles including Senior Manager for Enterprise Risk Management at Deloitte and Touche and Manager Reinsurance at Liberty International Underwriters.
