Tanzania and Kuwait to sign KWD 5.4 million loan agreement


Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) will offer the loan to Tanzania.


Tanzania’s Foreign Minister, Augustine Mahiga, will visit Kuwait soon to sign a loan agreement worth KWD 5.4 million for an irrigation project in Mkuranga district, reported local daily, Arab Times.

During the state budget presentation in the parliament last month, Minister Mahiga discussed the projects by KFAED in Tanzania, which amounted to about $65 million in 2017.
