Mandarin Oriental launches new offerings at Marrakech and Washington DC locations

The renowned chain has added new innovative spa treatments and family packages to the popular destinations for the region's business and pleaure travelers.

Mandarin Oriental have added new offerings to its Washington, DC and Marrakech locations.

In DC, the Mandarin Oriental has launched the Chakra Rebalance Treatment, an invigorating ritual is accompanied by a mindful meditative nap experience with the award-winning sound-massage-system Gharieni Spa Wave Table.

The Gharieni Spa Wave Table utilises ‘Quantum Harmonic Audiotherapy’, a sound system merging the effects of deep relaxation techniques with meditations. The experience begins on the Spa Wave Table with warm gentle vibrations and soft music accompanied by a therapist using the ancient massage technique of Thai Poultice. The Thai Poultice massage consists of small muslin bags filled with herbs, tied into tight pouches, steamed, then rhythmically stamped, kneaded and rocked over the body. The treatment concludes with a 15-minute meditative nap of light vibrations intended to resonate with the body’s energy center and accompany the audio journey of musical notes, tones, and natural sounds for a deepened, relaxed state. The one hour and fifty-minute treatment starts at $395.

The Marrakech property has launched a new luxury accommodation offer packed with activities for families. Available all year round, the ‘more for the whole family’  package provides opportunities for younger guests totake part in a treasure hunt in the historic Medina, discover the resort’s farm and enjoy fun pursuits at its new kids club.  Families will stay in a spacious, tranquil villa surrounded by gardens. The accommodation package starts from EUR 787 per night for a minimum two-night stay, available all year round.
