Oman Arab Bank appoints new CEO


Rashad Ali Al Musafi was appointed as the acting CEO in February 2018, replacing the former CEO, Amin Al Husseini who subsequently took on the role of the bank’s advisor.

The Board of Directors of Oman Arab Bank (OAB) has appointed Rashad Ali Al Musafir as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as of 2 September 2018, reported local daily, Times of Oman.

Al Musafir joined OAB in 2016 as the Deputy CEO, during his time with the lender he has been involved in several initiatives and development plans to modernise operations.

Rashad Al Zubair, the Chairman of OAB, said, “We are confident in the ability of Rashad Al Musafir to lead the executive management team of the Bank and our decision comes as part of our continued endeavour towards empowering talented Omanis to take up senior management positions within the bank.”
